this is my third (I think) post on "Il progetto valentina" (valentina project) and it's now time for me to tell you what this is about.
VALENTINA suffers from cerebral palsy and loves marathons. she is part, as I am, of one the many forums on marathon running called maratoneti.com
to be honest with you, it's not a 'normal' forum. First of all is the forum of Stefano Baldini's website (as well as Andriani's and Caimmi's...3 great italian marathon runners). it's also the forum where amazing people have decided to make valentina's dream come true. they wanted to help her complete a MARATHON. Last sunday, in parabita a little city in puglia, Valentina's dream became true. members of maratoneti.com arrived in parabita from all over italy (north and south!) and in turn they have pushed valentina and they all run next to her.
from the race reports on the forum the joy was overwhelming and you can see that for yourself just by watching the video at this link:
