prima notte di viaggio/first night of my journey

bene, dopo 9 ore di viaggio (casa-dublino airport-stansted) sono arrivata a heathrow. domani mattina alle 3.30/4 ho il check-in e l'idea di passare 5 ore seduta a terra cercando di riposare non mi allettava particolarmente. Una volta qui pero' faccio una scoperta. Da qualche giorno dentro all'aereoporto hanno aperto un hotel: yotel. Le stanze sono dei veri e propri cubicoli, come potete vedere dalla foto, che si possono pagare a ore (lo so, suona male!!). Dentro e' tutto in miniatura, ma c'e' il bagno con la doccia, la TV, internet incluso nel prezzo (£35 x 4 ore). Mai e poi mai avrei pensato di fare un'esperienza del genere :-)

Beh, e' ora che io vada o dormire che domani e' una giornata lunga anche se ricca di promesse, oltre all'incontro con il mio caro amico bruno!

after 9 hours of journey (my flat-dublin airport- stansted) I am now at heathrow. I will check in at 3.30/4am and i wasn't looking forward to spending 5 hours sitting on the floor trying to rest. But once here I discovered that they have opened a hotel within the terminal. It's called yotel and has very tiny rooms with en-suite, tv and internet included in the price (£35 for 4 hours)! I would have never thought that I would end in a place like this :-)

well, I should try to get some rest. Tomorrow will be a long day but full of promises and of my meeting with my dear friend bruno!

it's so cool!!! next year I'll spend spend my vacation there!!!! maybe a bit expensive, but unforgettable experience
